If it has to hang, call a rigger!

From the early days of sailing ships a rigger worked the ropes. He was then responsible for the pulleys  and ropes and sails aboard ship. Today’s rigger still, in some cases work with rope, but now more often with chain, and chain motors that do the lifting for him. Understanding math, and weight distribution is critical in this field.  Thousands of pound of steel, lighting gear, sound, and backdrops must be flown above ones head, riggers triple check everything, before anything flies.

I have seen riggers set up zip lines from the balcony of a venue and fly the star artist onto the stage.

If it has to hang, call a rigger ! Can you spot him in this picture?
